If my Fish Could Talk
I have a goldfish.
He swims around in his bowl all day.
He looks bored.
I look inside the bowl and watch him.
His mouth always moves.
He looks like he is talking.
I imagine what my goldfish would say if he really could talk.
I think he would say:
"Hey, I'm bored in this little bowl.
Why don't you get me a bigger tank with more fish in it?
I would like to have some friends to swim around with."
I went out and bought a bigger tank for my goldfish.
I put some plants at the bottom of the tank,
and I got a miniature deep-sea diver to put at the bottom of the tank.
I looked into the tank and imagined what my goldfish was saying.
He seemed to be saying:
"This is a nice tank.
It's roomy in here, and you decorated it well,
but I still don't have any friends to swim with."
I went to the pet store and bought three more goldfish.
I put them into the tank.
All of the goldfish seemed to look at each other.
They swam near each other and seemed to be playing games.
I knew which one was my goldfish because he has a black spot on his fin.
I looked at him, and imagined that he was talking again.
He said:
"This is great!
I have a big new home and friends to swim with.
These are nice goldfish that you brought home for me; thank you."
Goldfish can't really talk.
I know that.
I just like to pretend that my goldfish talks.
He seems very happy now with his nice new home, and his new friends.
I don't think goldfish can smile either, but it looks like my goldfish has a smile on his face.

man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the
scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He
remembered dying, and that his faithful dog had been dead for many
years. He wondered where the road was leading them. After a while, they
came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked
like fine marble. As he reached the wall, he saw a magnificent gate in
the arch, and the street that led to the gate made from pure gold. He
and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man
at a desk to one side.
When he was close enough, he called out, "Excuse me, where are we?"
"This is heaven, sir," the man answered.
"Wow! Would you happen to have some water? We have traveled far," the man said.
"Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up."
The man gestured, and the gate began to open.
"Can my friend," gesturing toward his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler asked.
"I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets."
The
man thought a moment, remembering all the years this dog remained loyal
to him and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he
had been going. After another long walk he came to a plain dirt road,
which led through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been
closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man
inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.
"Excuse me!" he called to the reader. "Do you have any water? We have traveled far."
"Yes,
sure, there's a faucet over there." The man pointed to a place that
couldn't be seen from outside the gate. "Come on in and help yourself."
"How about my friend here?" the traveler gestured to his dog.
"There should be a bowl by the faucet; he is welcome to share."
They
went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned
faucet with a bowl beside it. The traveler filled the bowl and took a
long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog. When they were full,
he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree
waiting for them.
"What do you call this place?" the traveler asked.
"This is heaven," was the answer.
"Well, that's confusing," the traveler said. "The man down the road said that was heaven, too."
"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell."
"Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?"
"No. We're just happy that they screen out the folks who'd leave their best friends behind in exchange for material things."

Answer to the questions of iearn project... Although we don't like to admit it, one day our life will end.
How do you feel about it?
Are you afraid of death? and if you are, where does it come from? so,...
we think it's because death is something uncertain. As if you fall into
a big, deep hole and you don;t know what will be there at the
end.That's exactly the right question, it;s sure that.
there will be something after life. But what? Rebirth? a kind of paradise? our just nothing, like an endless sleep with out any dream? Yes you get afraid of it , but it's important to think about death , because: what is life with out it?
One
day our life will finish. I don’t feel well when somebody speaks about
it. I hate death, and I prefer to live forever but it is impossible if
you want to know about fear of death I should say I afraid of death a
little. In fact I afraid of grave. I don’t like to be alone in a dark
and narrow place. Maybe my fear is for people’s idea. Somebody said
that: grave is very terrible and dreadful. It has a lot of snake,
scorpion…but I think these are for bad persons. I think if we were
righteous during our life, grave is not dreadful for us, but if we were
sinner in our past life we will have a very bad life. I know these
things but I can’t understand why I’m afraid of death. Maybe I do some
crimes unwished.
When our life is end, it will be finish in this
world, after death we rebirth and we will go to perilous and will have
a new life over there.
In perilous God gives us reword, or punishes us.
I hope we have a grate futurity there.
You’re right it’s important to think a bout death, because life with out it is very tiresome and meaningless.
Death
is not like an endless sleep with out any dreams. Death is a sleep for
a little time with a lot of dreadful or beautiful dreams.
